Fresh from the Orchard: Our Cherry Picking Adventure in Kashmir

Two days ago, I had the most wonderful experience picking cherries with my family in our Kashmir orchard. The sun was shining, and the trees were laden with juicy, ripe cherries. My papa, grandfather, brother, and I set out early, baskets in hand, to pluck the best ones.

As we wandered through the rows of trees, the sweet aroma of cherries filled the air. I couldn't resist sneaking a few cherries while picking – their sweetness was irresistible! My family laughed and teased, "You'll eat them all, and nothing will be left to sell!"

The cherry trees were a treat to behold, with their vibrant red fruit glistening in the sunlight. We worked together, chatting and laughing, as we filled our baskets with the freshest cherries.
